Loop Earplugs verbeteren je ervaring door het geluid te dempen maar de kwaliteit te behouden. Met de ontwikkeling van de Loop Link gaven we hun fans precies wat ze wilden en maakten we hun fanbase nog groter.

The opportunity

In the hustle and bustle of life, anything can happen. Whether you’re attending a dance festival or moving through a crowded subway station, you don’t want to lose your earplugs. That’s why Loop wanted to develop a new accessory: the Loop Link. Like any Loop product, it had to be functional, stylish, and fit the Loop DNA. They asked Equals Three to do the heavy lifting.

The approach

The project involved two main challenges. Firstly, we had to find a solution that didn’t transmit contact noises (from the cord touching your clothes or skin) to your ears. Through extensive material research, multiple design explorations, and iterative finetuning of the prototype, we arrived at a final product that had all the necessary functionalities and looked the part too.

The result

The Loop Link was officially launched in time for Tomorrowland 2023 and the first reactions couldn’t have been more stellar. Just check out the reviews on Loop’s website. But these rave reviews didn’t come as too big of a shock, really. After all, the accessory was born out of the invaluable feedback of their fans. Kudos to Loop Earplugs for listening to their community and thanks for letting us be a part of this awesome ride.
